Vietnam's Real Estate Just Got a Permanent Digital "Fingerprint" – Starting March 1, 2026!

Picture this: Vietnam's property market stepping fully into the digital age. Every house, apartment, or even a chunk of floor space in a building is about to get its own unique electronic ID code — basically a forever CCCD (citizen ID) but for real estate!

This is all thanks to Decree No. 357/2025/ND-CP (issued Dec 31, 2025), which launches a national housing and real estate database. The code? An alphanumeric string (numbers + letters) up to 40 characters long, auto-generated and permanently linked to the property — tracking every sale, mortgage, ownership change, you name it.

The big wins: deals become way more transparent, checking a property's real history gets super easy, and hopefully we say goodbye to fake news, ghost projects, and endless paperwork headaches.

Honestly, this feels like a solid step forward for anyone buying, selling, or investing in Vietnam real estate.

What do you think — are you excited about this change, or wondering how smooth the rollout will be? Let me know! 🚀
